Haunted Boathouse Open Every Night This Weekend

From Joanne Jukins
--------------
Middletown High School crew is presenting its annual Haunted Boathouse experience again this year. Once again, the members of the team have created a completely new story and experience for the brave soul that dares to enter the dark and scary boathouse. All who venture down to the river will be thrilled and chilled by what waits in store for them. This event is a great addition to any Halloween party or an awesome way to get in the “Halloween spirit”.
The frighteningly transformed boathouse will be open on Friday, October 28th, Saturday, October 29th and Sunday October 30th. The hours of operation are 6-11pm on Friday and Saturday night and 6-10pm on Sunday. Cost of entry is $5 per person and all proceeds go directly to the support of Middletown High School crew. The boathouse is located in Middletown, CT at Harbor Park on Harbor Drive.

MHS crew has been in existence since 1971. The program allows the student-athlete an opportunity to be part of a sport that is both physically and mentally challenging. There is, also, the added advantage of utilizing one of Middletown’s finest natural resources, the Connecticut River. Those participants that excel at the sport are also afforded a great advantage when seeking out college opportunities.
