Another Great Jazz Band At The Buttonwood Tree

Tonight at The Buttonwood Tree a great four piece jazz band, James Argiro / piano, Brian Torff / bass and Tom Devino / drums performed. The bassist was world class, having played with Mel Torme'. The pianist brought out the best in the Neely Bruce donated Jesse French Baby Grand Piano. The left-handed drummer, like so many of the extremely competent percussionists who pass through TBT, set one's foot to tappin' as he went through his paces with mallets, sticks, and brushes. The vocalist at one point affected the sound of a trumpet with that most elemental of all instruments - the human voice. A great performance by four very talented and charming musicians!

Saturday night our piano will rock with the music of Pocket Vinyl.
