Anthony Salvatore, president of the Middlesex County Substance Abuse Action Council (MCSAAC), announced that the organization honored five individuals from the community at its annual awards meeting this morning. One of the awards went to a business in our city.
The 2011 Harry Eben Burr Business Award for Prevention Awareness, which is for a member of the Middlesex County business community (either business or individual) who has gone above and beyond to implement, promote or support substance abuse prevention and/or recovery efforts; the award went to Aidan Charles, Charles Coaching & Nutrition Services, Middletown.
