Grand List Released by Tax Assessor

The town wide taxable Grand List was released Tuesday, showing a net taxable grand list of $3,578,647,886 an increase of .88% over last year's grand list.

Aetna, which still has buildings on its Middletown site, is the largest taxpayer with property assessed at $197,964,550.  The buildings on the Aetna site are slated for demolition in 2011.
