Armetta Floats Newfield Street Waste Plant Before Council

The Middletown Press is reporting that Phil Armetta, former owner of Dainty Rubbish, and major investor in the Kleen Energy plant is proposing a waste recycling facility on Newfield Street.

This would bring many jobs and tax revenue to Middletown. It would make use of wasted space on newfoeld. I hope the Serracrats don't cry fowl and those who complain each time a single tree is fell and spoil yet another chance of industry coming toTown.

alomost all bulky waste in CT currently goes to Ohio. That has got to be a HUGE environemtnal impact from trucks on road and wasted diesal fuel.

the more we can recycle the better for the environemnt and if anyone knows how to turn our trash into a product its Armetta.
