Ed you missed a little thing called "acting". Plus the press realease makes it look like the demolition is being directed by the "ACTING" Chief, which it is not. The Building Official and Town Engineer direct the demolition process, closures of roads and parking alternatives even to the "ACTING" Chief.

Dear Anon, Can't let Ed take the rap for this one. I posted the notice that came through my inbox, 'cause i thought the general public would be wanting to know about the demolition plans. Thanks for that correction though, about the job title and chain of command. Seems like you know lots about how things work in the city - how about becoming an author for the Eye?!
