Burglary Suspect Nabbed In Saybrook Road Robbery


At approximately 1:41 P.M. the Middletown Police Department responded to a Burglary in progress call at 856 Saybrook Road. A resident was home at the time of the attempted burglary and called 911.

On arrival officers were advised the accused had left the area on foot. A responding detective located a suspect and a K-9 track was conducted and it returned with the track leading the suspect. The victim who was home at the time also positively identified the suspect.

The suspect was identified as Justin Perrucci 25 years old of 10F Rose Circle Middletown, CT 06457.  Perrucci was charged with Criminal Attempt Burglary In The Second Degree and held on a Seventy Five Thousand Dollar ($75,000) Bond. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on September 22, 2010.
