Solo Concert This Thursday (2-18)

Anthea Kreston
Anthea Kreston, violinist/educator/Middletown resident, will give a free solo concert at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Daniels Family Common of the Usdan Center, Wyllys Avenue.  Ms. Kreston, a founding member of the Amelia Piano Trio, will play works by Telemann, August Read Thomas, "Biber's "Passacaglia", (the first piece ever written for solo violin), and the world premieres of Gilda Lyons' "Between Dog and Wolf", Anna LeBaron's "four", and Jessica Rudman's "A Dark Gaze Bathed in Light."

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear a world-class performer as she prepares for the New York City debut of this program for The Phoenix Concerts, a series now in its 4 season (click here to read more.)
