From the Middletown Police Department
On February 15, 2010 the Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the Portland Police Department and the Middletown Police Patrol Division executed a Search and Seizure Warrant at the residence of 47 Airline Ave, Portland, CT. The Middletown Police Department and the Portland Police Department had received numerous complaints concerning this address from concerned citizens that reside in the area.
As detectives entered the residence, in order to serve the search warrant, several parties were located. On the first floor Bonnie Malone DOB 2/5/63 and James Malone 11/15/87 were located. Bonnie Malone was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. James Malone was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
The male target of our investigation Thomas McArthur D.O.B. 10/10/81 was located on the second floor along with Kayla Perruccio DOB 6/25/87. McArthur and Perruccio were found to be in possession of 6.7 grams of cocaine 80.6 grams of marijuana and a significant amount of US currency, which was seized as asset forfeiture. Numerous scales, smoking pipes, and packaging materials were also located.
Thomas McArthur was subsequently arrested for the following charges and held on a $250,000.00 Bond:
Possession of Cocaine
Possession Cocaine with Intent to Sell
Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell within 1500’ of a Housing Project
Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell
Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell within 1500’ of a Housing Project
Kayla Perruccio was subsequently arrested for the following charges and held on a $25,000.00 Bond:
Possession of Cocaine
Possession Cocaine with Intent to Sell
Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell within 1500’ of a Housing Project
Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell
Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell within 1500’ of a Housing Project
James Malone was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia by Portland Police.
Bonnie Malone was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia by Portland Police.
