At Snow School the story was the same as at Moody, Williams Street, and MacDonough. When the poll workers arrived at 5:15 this morning, there was already somebody waiting to vote and when the polls actually opened at 6:00, the line was way out the door. By 9:15AM, when I stopped by on the way to work, over 350 people had already voted in District 7, and over 175 had voted in District 8.
The early rush was over, though, replaced by a steady stream of people who did not feel compelled by their job or their desires to vote at the earliest possible time.
As at the other polling places, people at Snow School were full of cheer and hope.
