Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem at Russell Library Thursday Night

Nationally touring "new roots" band, Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem will appear tonight in a free show at the Russell Library's Hubbard Room (it is a "Courtyard Concert" but the rainy, late spring weather almost would almost guarantee a washout of an outdoor show), at 7 PM. Rani and the band's drummer, Scott Kessel are Middletown residents, but they spend much of the year travelling from coast-to-coast playing for rapt audiences. The most recent band album, Big Old Life, is released by Signature Sounds, and the band is currently recording an album of songs for families and children.
