Route 202 Plays at Russell Library This Thursday

Thursday April 14 at 7:00pm the acoustic duo Route 202 will be giving a concert in the Hubbard Room. 'Eclectic and fun-loving' are the best words to describe the acoustic duo Route 202 which is comprised of Thomasina Levy and Robert Brereton, two award-winning musicians who have a taste for diverse styles of music. Just as Route 202 meanders through rural areas, suburbs and cities in New England, their music saunters through musical landscapes that range from folk to swing to new age to classical.

Thomasina Levy, Connecticut State Troubadour 2005/2006, won the 2011 NAMA Award for Best Song/Single of the year for her original song, 'Out of Many We Are One.'

Robert Brereton's exceptional dulcimer playing won him an award at the national dulcimer competition in Winfield, Kansas. Rob and Sina have enchanted and enlivened their audiences with their dulcimers, guitars, drums and songs in venues throughout the U.S.

They will be interviewed by Stephan Allison on River Valley Rhythms April 14th at 4:00pm.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Russell Library
