From the Middletown Police Department
On Monday, September 5, 2011 at approximately 2:30 P.M., a serious motor vehicle collision occurred in the area of 290 Freeman Road.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2004 Jaguar, operated by, Mr. Zahir Muhammad Mannan, age: 23, of Middletown, was traveling in an easterly direction on Freeman Road. The vehicle traveled to the right, and off the roadway making contact with several trees.
The operator of the Jaguar was extricated by South Fire District personnel, and was transported to Hartford Hospital by LIFE STAR Air Medical Helicopter for reported serious injuries. A passenger, Ms. Sana Shah, age 23, of Middletown, was transported by Hunter’s Ambulance to Hartford Hospital for reported serious injuries.
