Bysiewicz Endorses Dan Drew For Mayor

From the campaign of Dan Drew
----------------
City native and resident Susan Bysiewicz has announced her support of Dan Drew, in the upcoming primary election for mayor on September 13. Bysiewicz is the former Connecticut Secretary of State, currently campaigning for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Joe Lieberman.

“I’m so pleased to have Susan’s support,” Drew said. “Because she has served Middletown for so many years, she understands how important it is to create good jobs and reduce the tax burden on working families.”

Bysiewic said that Drew will bring a new perspective to City Hall, one focused on expanding the city’s economy to the benefit of all residents and building a first-rate educational system, and that the city has an exciting future under his leadership.

“Dan Drew lowered property taxes for Middletown families in his first year on the Council, and he is going to work every day as Mayor to reduce property taxes and create jobs. I am proud to support him to be our next Mayor – it is time to change City Hall and Washington D.C., together.”

this endorsement means just about as much as Malloy's. Please. Lisa is now in the background because dems are sick of her already. Still following the lead of the others Dan. Welcome to Middletown. Are you ready??????? Funny thing is that if this kid wins and wants to someday be re-elected, the tables will be turned and everyong will be talking crap about him worst than now.

has Bysiewicz announced the Mayor unofficial election results yet; she's quite skilled at that.

Please, someone explain how Dan Drew lowered taxes! He's really full of himself & you know what else. Where does this guy get off coming to town & wanting to be mayor? Why doesn't he run for mayor in the town he came from? Something really stinks about this entire election. What are his campaign issues? What has he got to offer Middletown? How is he qualified to be mayor? Watch out! Remember what happened in Cromwell with Shingleton!!!!

And while he lowers taxes, how will he build "a first-rate educational system"?
