The Planning and Zoning Commission will continue their consideration of a proposed change to zoning on Saybrook Road. The proposed change would allow an apartment complex to be built on an approximately 7 acre parcel across from the shopping plaza, near Coe Avenue.
The Commission opened the public hearing at their last meeting. After hearing concerns from neighbors, the Commission granted the proponents of the zoning change their request to continue the hearing and deliberations to this month.
The Commission will also hold a public hearing on a new liquor store, in the former Town and Country Auto store on Newfield Street.
And after a delay in construction due to financial difficulties, the developer of the Sonoma Woods "adult living" homes is appearing at The Commission to gain re-approval of his site plan.
