Food Not Bombs every Sunday

Every Sunday, Food not Bombs provides a free vegetarian meal outside The Buttonwood Tree at 605 Main Street at 1PM to anyone who wants some.

The meal is prepared at 11AM at First Church of Christ's kitchen at 11AM every Sunday. Come and volunteer!

delicious meal, better than a lot of Main Street restaurants. I like the Food Not Bombs food. I have helped cook and it's very clean. Anon should try joining in rather than putting down that which I am guessing he/she has no first hand experience. All are welcome!

Anon ought to join us. Yes, some of the food has been rescued from restaurants and grocery stores before hitting the dumpster.

Actually most of the food comes directly from the kitchens of Wesleyan and we are fortunate that they take the efforts to share! Also, It's Only Natural is a reliable and dedicated contributor to FNB. Sometimes they also provide fresh vegetables and canned goods for folks to take home. And while its always a tasty meal often using spices and varying ingredients in clever and creative ways, one of the best parts I find is the interesting conversation! Talk to any Wesleyan student and your eyes will be opened, talk to anyone on the street and your heart may be opened - if you let it. Peace. (Anne-Marie)
