Diets Derailed, Turnout High

At the District One polls at Macdonough School, voting has been brisk all day.  By 2 pm, more than 700* of the roughly 1,600 registered voters had already cast their ballots.

Traffic was also high at the PTA bake sale table, which will stay open until the polls close at 8 pm, or whenever the cupcakes run out.  You'll need Photo ID and prior registration to vote, but the bake sale is open to all.

*Unconfirmed reports say that about 1,200 votes were cast in the North End (District One) in the last Presidential election.
