Silent Auction For Green Street Arts Center

From the Green Street Arts Center

We invite you to join us in celebrating Green Street's 5th anniversary and the great success of the After School Arts and Science Program. Our first silent auction, A Feast for the Senses, will be held on Thursday, February 18th. All proceeds will support the After School Program and Scholarship Fund. If you have not yet purchased your tickets, call 860-685-7871.

In conjunction with our event in February, we will run an exciting online auction featuring tickets to New York shows, a tour of ESPN, and art work by Keiji Shinohara and more. You can join in the action here!  Bidding starts now, and be sure to check the site for updates daily. Remember, with your help, each dollar raised will help us reach out to more creative students in our neighborhood and throughout Middletown.

The Green Street After School Program is designed to provide affordable, quality arts education to Middletown area residents between the ages of 7 to 18. We offer the only multidisciplinary arts programming in a state-of-the arts facility that is low or no-cost to qualifying families and in such close proximity to their homes. Over half the students enrolled in our program reside in the North End, whose predominant population is Black and Latino, with high rates of poverty and youth-at-risk; our location is so convenient for them that many are able to walk home after our program. This past year, 98% of all our students received scholarship awards.

We look forward to seeing you at A Feast for the Senses and thank you in advance for your support!
