One great show after another!

Saturday Night Jazz at The Buttonwood Tree - One great show after another!

submitted by Anne-Marie Cannata:

The Buttonwood Tree was graced by the presence of 4 young, talented and amiable musicians last night, to the delight of the patrons who filled the room. 30 people turned out to hear the musical mastery of Nicole Zuraitis, Darren Litzie, Dan Pugach and Craig Akin. Each musician was wonderful in their own right and together they made beautiful music! Nicole's voice was fluid, delicately expressive and in perfect timing with the others. Darren Litzie, a genius on the piano, will be back to The Buttonwood Tree on March 6th with the Collin Wade Jazz Quartet. Dan Pugash, on drums, now living in Brooklyn after moving from his native Israel 3 years ago, promised us a performance with his own group which has toured throughout Japan and Europe. The audience, which came from all over the state and some from Massachusetts, gave the charming quartet a standing ovation after a truly wonderful performance.

Nicole Zuraitis, Vocals and piano
Darren Litzie, Piano
Dan Pugach, Drums
Craig Akin, Bass

Thanks to Bruce MacLeod for a freshly tuned piano :)

Our next Saturday Night Jazz will feature The Sopisticats! It's jazz in a whole other style - This group has an upbeat repertoire which features selections from the 1930’s up to shining new original compositions in many styles, including jazz, rockabilly, gypsy swing, British Isles folk, and blues. www.BandLMusic.com

The Buttonwood is great! But this small, on-a-shoestring arts organization is going to need our financial support esp this year to keep the doors open and continue this great programming! If you love BWT, give generously at the door and write a check to support their annual fund. Please.
