Kettle Korn Alert

The Haddam Neck Fair is open until Monday afternoon.

You've already missed the Beard contest - that was on Saturday at 11 am. But maybe you can still catch Multiple Births at noon on Sunday or Skillet Throwing on Monday at 11 am. You'll find the entire schedule here.

The town Republicans are selling chocolate-covered bacon and you can buy fresh lemonade right out of a giant lemon. Grownups are $7, and it's free for kids and your car. The fairgrounds are in Middle Haddam, just 15 minutes from downtown Middletown.

For a list of the rest of the country fairs this autumn, see www.ctfairs.org.

CORRECTION: The Haddam Neck Fair is in Haddam Neck (Surprised?), NOT in Middle Haddam! Haddam Neck is the section of Haddam that's on the East Side of the Connecticut River. See:
haddamneckfair.com for details, directions, and a schedule of events.

Thanks Mr. Fixit,

I guess what I meant to say was that you drive through Middle Haddam to get there, but simply getting directions from the website is a much better idea!
