People Empowering People (PEP)Program

Worrying about problems in your community. Help change them. Turn your concern for children into action. Learn skills to make this happen. Participate in the People Empowering People Program.

The Middletown Public Schools in collaboration with the State Department of Education, PIRC , Parent Trust and the UConn Cooperative Extension System is sponsoring the UConn CES People Empowering People (PEP) program on Thursdays, September 29 - December 9, 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Woodrow Wilson Middle School - Library Media Center, 370 Hunting Hill Ave, Middletown .

PEP is a personal, family and leadership development program with a strong community focus. Participants will share refreshments together, attend 2 hour sessions on values,communication skills, parenting skills, and leadership skills and work on projects to enhance their community. PEP is an awesome program. It has benefited many individuals in Middletown. I urge anyone new to Middletown or wanting to make changes in their life and neighborhoods to step up and take the class. Sue Owens is awesome as well.
