If you're planning on giving books to any of the children on your holiday shopping list, consider stopping by the Scholastic Book Fair at Macdonough Elementary on Spring Street. The fair will be open from noon to 4 pm on Thursday and Friday this week, and we welcome community members who want to want to pick up the new Wimpy Kid volume, or some classic Jan Brett picture books.
As a bonus, your purchases will help the PTA raise funds for field trips!

Book fairs are being held at ALL the schools in Middletown, not just Macdonough...please support your local schools!
I heard that both Farm Hill and Snow have book fairs this week also, since there are shortened days for parent-teacher conferences in the whole district.
If anyone has the details on those fairs or any others, please write in!
