The First State of Black CT Alliance assembles in Middletown Saturday at the Cross Street A.M.E Zion Church on West Street beginning at 10 a.m.
Featured speaker is Middletown resident, and Principal of Hartford's Capital Preparatory Magnet School, Dr. Steve Perry, MSW.
The State of Black CT Alliance is a network of community members working together to encourage personal responsiblity, strengthen families, promote public policy that supports children, their family, the community and identify and implement best practices to sustain improvement in education, social and economic conditions thus creating "One Connecticut".
