The Greater Middletown Concert Association is bringing Verdi's La Traviata to town on Friday May 1, at the Middletown High School performing arts center, and already, 500 of the 700 tickets are gone.
The three-act Italian classic opera will be performed by the Connecticut Lyric Opera and the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra and directed by Adrian Sylveen Mackiewicz. It will be sung in the original Italian with English supertitles.
