Dancing? ... No, Jazzin' with the Stars!

Jazzin' with the Stars

A Benefit Concert for Channel 3 Kids Camp and Hole in the Wall Gang Camp

Saturday, April 21
2 - 5 pm

at First Church of Christ
190 Court Street
Middletown, CT

Get ready for the shoo-be-doo, the doo-wop, and the sweet, clear sounds of the 50s and 60s. Come see how good these stars really are!

It should be a fine afternoon's entertainment--Jazzin' with the Stars, on Saturday, April 21, from 2 to 5 pm, at First Church. Maybe you'll tune up your vintage car and arrive in style. Park nearby and take a stroll down Middletown's most beautiful Main Street. Have a bite to eat beforehand at one of Middletown's many restaurants. ...Then wander over to Court Street and First Church, where the seats are comfy (genuine horsehair), the acoustics are super, and the music will stoke cheer and a good time. Is there any better way to spend a Saturday afternoon? And for two good causes.

All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Hole In The Wall Gang Camp, founded by the late Paul Newman, and the regional Channel 3 Kids Camp, sponsored by WFSB-TV3.
Ronnie Sector, featured guest star.

Coordinated by Mr. Bill Logozzo and his Heartbeat Dixieland Jazz Band, the performance features Ronnie Spector (Be My, Be My Baby), the Heartbeat Dixieland Jazz Band, Jimmie Rodgers (walkin,' talkin' Honeycomb and Kisses Sweeter than Wine), Marshall Lytle (founding member and bassist with Bill Haley and the Comets), and Michelle Berting (current touring on stage in The Man in Black, the story of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash) on stage at First Church, in Middletown, this Saturday, April 21, starting at 2 pm.
