Statement From Mayor Drew Regarding Titanium Bar

From the office of the mayor.
----------

"I am pleased to see that Gaetano Bramato, owner of Titanium Bar & Lounge, has taken steps to secure his bar by hiring two police officers per night on the weekends to provide security. This is a step in the right direction and is evidence that Mr. Bramato is taking seriously his responsibility to ensure the safe operation of his establishment. I believe he understands the city's concerns and is taking positive steps to address those concerns."

The police shook down Titanium and the Mayor got snookered - how does this justified serving minors alcohol which is what the Police reported or the numerous violation alleged by the City - prompting them to call the liquor commission
Who attended the meeting in the Mayors office - this deal is not good for the City and suggests that past breaches of the law can be mitigated by future hiring of Police Officers

The complaint wasn't just about what happened on New Year's, it was also about how they aren't running the kind of business that they said they would, a lounge with food. THe last article said they were going to have to close or follow the plan they promised the city.

In the release of this statement the Mayor's actions are both appropriate and good. His words, showing strong support for the business community combined with notable concern for the general public, reflect a welcome positive attitude.

Exactly if they did what they said they were going to do there would be no need for police. City was lied to and now we have to accept and pay for all the problems and the family gets all the money.

Look at their facebook page, its basically a strip bar for low life from Hartford and New Haven.

Sadly Mayor Drew has not issued a statement regarding the BOE.
