Our summer vacation this year was a trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico with other Middletown residents, Nick Motta, Paul Motta, Amy Williamson, and Ari Motta. We all went down to the wedding of Bonnie Williamson and Luca Pomaro, Middlefield residents. The wedding was on a beautiful beach with a fabulous wind blowing. That wind was very important as it was really hot and humid. Makes the weather in Connecticut feel downright cool.

My husband, John, at Chichen Itza. This was the day we met a woman with a really cool gadget that measured the heat index. WAY TOO HOT. It measured 125.

That gadget wouldn't be much use here...mostly we need one that reads "WAY TOO WET"!
