Rosa Stumps For Matt

From the Re-elect Matt Lesser Campaign

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro came to the 100th District Monday to campaign door-to-door for State Representative Matt Lesser.

Lesser, who serves on the Education, Energy and Public Health Committees, is seeking his second term in the General Assembly.

"I'm supporting Matt," DeLauro said, "and I hope you will too."

"The response Rosa received was just tremendous," Lesser said. "I am so pleased to have her support. She works her heart out for Connecticut's middle class."

DeLauro spoke in support of Lesser's commitment to invest in schools and renewable energy, and lower electricity rates. She particularly singled out his commitment to constituent service.
About two dozen volunteers from Middlefield and Middletown gathered with the candidates before going door-to-door themselves.
