On April 19, 2011 the Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the MPD SWAT Team, Major Investigations Unit, and Patrol Division executed two Search and Seizure Warrants at the residence of 418 Long Lane and 74 Santangello Circle. We had received numerous complaints concerning these addresses from concerned citizens and the Middletown Housing Authority that two black males were working together in order to sell narcotics out of the residences. Tyquan Jackson was selling out of 418 Long Lane and a 17 year old youthful offender was selling out of 74 Santangello Circle.

The Department of Children and Families was notified as the child had access to the firearm and marijuana, their investigation remains ongoing.
Tyquan Jackson was subsequently arrested for the following charges and held on a

As the SWAT team entered the second residence at 74 Santangello Circle they
encountered several parties, one of which was the second target of our investigation, The Youthful Offender age 17. Also located in the residence were Brance Hendricks 23, Gina Hendricks age 41, and Sandy Pierce age 45.
Inside of the residence at 74 Santangello Circle were numerous plastic “Apple” brand
bags commonly used for packaging narcotics. There were no narcotics located within the household.

Now, I can only stand to check this ridiculous site once in a great while, so I don't know if this is standard operating procedure or what. Is it usual to say "we" had recieved numerous complaints, "our" investigation, etc, as though the Middletown Eye is a branch of the police force? Is it usual to print the full names and ages of people, for no apparent reason, because they happened to be in the same house as a certain brand of plastic bag?
John:
Thanks for the reminder to provide the source of the article. This post was verbatim from the Police Department, just as other postings have been verbatim from other sources. I have added the source to the top of this post.
I hope this clears up your confusion.
Seems Mr. deBoer has a problem with law enforcement period.
Wonder why?
Hint: don't read The Eye if it bothers you so much!
Ah, this is more the "digital notice board" kind of post, got it.
