Every year in April there are a series of Budget Hearings, each of which focuses on a subset of the Departments. The schedule for the Departmental Budget Reviews is as follows (all meetings in Council Chambers):

TREASURER,FINANCE DEPARTMENT, TAX COLLECTOR, TAX ASSESSOR AND BOARD OF TAX REVIEW, EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, CENTRAL COMMUNICATIONS, FIRE DEPARTMENT, PARKS AND RECREATION SENIOR SERVICES, COMMON COUNCIL
TUESDAY, APRIL 19, 2011 AT 6:30 P.M.: OLD BURYING GROUNDS, MID-STATE REGIONAL PLANNING, TRANSIT DISTRICT, CITY ATTORNEY, PLANNING CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT, ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS, WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20, 2011 AT 6:30 P.M.: POLICE DEPARTMENT, ANIMAL CONTROL, REGISTRARS OF VOTERS, PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT, HUMAN RELATIONS, CONSUMER PROTECTION, VETERAN’S COUNCIL, RUSSELL LIBRARY, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 2011 AT 6:30 P.M.: PROBATE COURT, TOWN CLERK, PARKING DEPARTMENT, HEALTH DEPARTMENT, BOARD OF EDUCATION, YOUTH SERVICES
None of these meetings have public hearings, they are designed for directors of each department to discuss their budget with the Common Council.
The Pubic Hearing will be held on Thursday, April 28, at 7PM, also in Council Chambers.
