Democratic Town Convention Thursday

The Convention to nominate the Democratic candidate for the 33rd District will take place tonight at 7PM, in Council Chambers.

The 33rd District is entirely within Middletown, so by State statute, all 70 members of the Town Committee serve as delegates, and the convention can take place at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Town Committee.

Incumbent Joe Serra is expected to receive the nomination.
