The Common Council will hold two meetings tonight in Council Chambers.
The first meeting is a special meeting to vote on water billing and on union concessions attached to the budget.
The regular meeting is to vote on the budget as proposed by the mayor, and adjusted by the Common Council.

I am pleased that the CAC is planning on visiting the sites who apply for grant dollars to see the needs. But Shiloh Manor is in great need this summer. The sidewalks are cracked and pushed up because of the ice and water under the surface. The 41 seniors expecially those in wheelchairs finds it very difficult. One senior has already fell. The roof is leaking, causing the front entrance to become very slippery in the morning and when it's cold. The carpets has not been changed since the construction of the building in 1995. And the window has not been able to close in 14 yrs, causiong a waste of energy. I know there is not enough grant dollars for all the projects to be fully funded, but maybe how the funds are divided need to be revisited.
