Though the website says otherwise, as I was leaving my radio show at WESU this evening I noticed that the gates were open, as was the door of Broad Street Books. I didn't have time to duck in to ask about hours, but the bookstore seemed to be open for business.

I heard on the news last night that they opened yesterday. Apparently, there is a wall up closing off the cafe area, which can kind of be seen in your photo if you look. I don't know if the wall is permanent or temporary.
According to the café's site,www.redblackcafe.com, the café will be closed due to the tragedy until September.
