Although it was an anonymous comment, I have confirmed that the information is correct, and felt it was important to set the record straight.
Dominick DeMartino is registered in Durham as an "unaffiliated" voter. I used outdated information (HERE) to conclude that he is a registered Republican.
"Anonymous" also wants to note that Giuseppina donated money to the primary campaign of Hillary Clinton in 2008.
"Anonymous" does not dispute that DeMartino owns and is renovating two buildings on Main Street, that he has contributed $1000 to the Bill Russo for Mayor, or that the DeMartino truck is benefitting the Russo campaign.

What’s the fuss about Mr. DeMartino’s party? It’s pretty clear that when you declare an affiliation, that’s where your your thinking or your passions are aligned. Unaffiliated is simply going wherever the wind (or opportunity) takes you.
