ODDFELLOWS
DAY!
On
Saturday, June 16, 9 am to 1 pm
A Day of cleaning and fixing
up our wonderful building at 128 Washington Street, as well as sharing a meal
and our collective visions for Oddfellows as we head into the future together.
The Place:
Oddfellows Playhouse, 128 Washington Street, Middletown
The Plan: Split into teams at 9 am to take on
various cleaning and repair projects inside and outside the Playhouse. At noon
we will wrap up the work and all come together for a POT-LUCK LUNCH and community
dialog about next season and beyond at Oddfellows.
Who can come: This event is for anyone ages 14 and up
who cares about the present and future of Oddfellows Playhouse. We will have
some jobs that require skills or physical strength, but also jobs that are less
demanding. Families are welcome to bring
younger children, but anyone under 13 must be accompanied by and supervised by
an adult.
What should you
do?:
1. PLEASE let us know that you are coming
by emailing info@oddfellows.org
or calling (860) 347-6143. Tell us who is coming, your contact info (email
& cell phone), and if you have any special skills or equipment that you can
bring, or if you are willing to be a Team Leader. It would also help plan the
pot luck if you let us know what you plan to bring. Contact us if you have
questions or ideas!
2. Bring a potluck lunch item to share.
Keep in mind that we do not have a stove or oven, and very little ability to
refrigerate or freeze things.
