"School House Rocks" had done the Bill of Rights in song back in the 1970s which was aired on the ABC TV network.

"I'm a bill! I'm just a bill!

And I'm sittin' here on Capitol Hill!"

Can the civic impact of the Children's Television Workshop ever be measured?

School House Rocks was not a part of the Children's Televison Workshop that was Sesame Street.

Written by Dave Frishberg, sung by Jack Sheldon although much of the original material for the whole series of Schoolhouse Rocks goes to Bob Dorough (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Dorough), one of a very select few vocalists to ever appear on a Miles Davis album. check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schoolhouse_Rock!

The December performance of Neely Bruce's choral work at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. is here:

The actual music begins around minute 6, after some welcoming comments. If you can't attend tomorrow, definitely give this a listen.
