To the Editor,
I have known Councilwoman Deborah Kleckowski for a few months. In that time she has demonstrated her commitment to the community. Councilwoman Kleckowski spoke, with short notice, at the Polish Falcon’s 9-11 ceremony this past September. Her words were thoughtful and on point as she spoke of the importance of service to the community by fallen heroes such as firefighters, police and EMS and by all those who serve in not so spectacular efforts. Her dedication to the community and her commitment to solving problems are evidenced by her taking time to get to know people from many areas of the community. I was pleased Deborah took time out of her schedule on a Sunday evening in order to speak at our “Tribute to Heroes” night. I wanted to take a moment to thank her for helping memorialize our fallen brothers and sisters.
