Culminate your weekend with this concert of tuneful music about and of dances - "Let's Sing and Dance" - featuring the 75 singers of the area's esteemed Greater Middletown Chorale, with instrumentalists and the Arthur Murray Hamden dancers under the direction of Joseph D'Eugenio, Artistic Director of The Greater Middletown Chorale.
Wonderful Waltzes, Torrid Tangos, Saucy Square Dances and Polkas and even Carmen's smoldering Habanera will be presented live for a delightful, zestful, rhythmic afternoon in one of the region's most perfect acoustical spaces. A delicious reception follows the concert.
Zion Lutheran Church is easy to find: go north on Portland's Main Street just over 2 miles until William Street is on your right - turn and go up the hill. Zion Lutheran is just past the Stop sign near the top - with the Swedish Cemetery on the left, the church is across William Street from the cemetery on the right.
