The spectacular and beloved "Albano's Nutcracker" will come to the new MHS Performing Arts Center for ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. This is the full-feature performance that is being presented at the Mohegan Sun and Central Connecticut State University’s Welte Hall for some higher ticket prices. Through the Greater Middletown Concert Association, the ballet is coming to Middletown for the first time and at a cost that is affordable for the whole family.
Presented at its finest under the direction of the renowned Joseph Albano and Company, the large "high-tech" 700 seat theater of the new Middletown High School will easily accommodate the elaborate scenery and theatrical effects of this fabulous Nutcracker production, for which "Albano's Nutcracker" is noted. It is performed to the music of a superb live orchestra—a special treat for all music lovers, and features solo international dancers. This holiday ballet classic by Tchaikovsky is a treat for young and old alike and is not to be missed!
