Connecticut Renaissance Faire

I took a carload of teenagers (and one very excited 6-year-old) to the Renaissance Faire at the fairgrounds in Hebron this weekend.

They had a grand time, bashing each other with foam swords, admiring the costumes, eating fried foods and trying to find the puppeteer inside the giant walking tree. I highly recommend it for all ages.

The Faire is open today (Columbus Day) and next weekend (and they're having a Halloween costume contest, so come prepared!). More info at www.ctfaire.com.
