Performance Art Piece protesting Federal, State and City Arts
funding to take place at State Capitol and Middletown City Hall Today.
A performance artist and musician will walk down Main Street
Middletown today at around 2 pm and head into the Middletown Municipal Building
to deliver an important message to the Mayor of Middletown. Expected arrival
time at City Hall about 2:10 pm.
The artists will also appear outside the West Entrance of the
State Capitol Building in Hartford around 3:40 pm (barring arrest at first
venue) as legislators and others emerge from State Arts Day events in the
Capitol.
Event will include dramatic visuals, astroturf, peanuts and
live music.
