Moriarity Out as Publisher of Middletown Press

A few sources have informed the Eye that Daniel Moriarity is no longer the publisher of the Middletown Press.  For now, his duties have been assumed by Ed Condra who as a regional publisher is also in charge of the New Haven Register and a handful of weeklies still owned by the Journal Register chain.

Press editor Viktoria Sundqvist wrote about the changes in her blog.

According to Sundqvist, Condra will oversee the Press, and all other Connecticut JR papers until he leaves to supervise the "Philadelphia cluster," and a new Connecticut publisher is named.
