This sale is the first of the season. It runs Friday, March 9, 10-6pm, Saturday, March 10, 10-2pm, and Sunday, March 11, 1-4pm.
All sorts of bargains can be found! CDs and DVDs, large display books, children's books, are all priced to sell -- $1, $2!
The book sale takes place on the second weekend of the month in the Activity Room of the library: April 13 & 14, May 11 & 12, and June 8 & 9. July and August, the Friends take a break from the book sales.
This year, each book sale is accompanied by a local authors' table in the lobby.
This weekend, the featured authors include Juan Goglio and Frances V. Moulder. The Haddam Writers Group will also be available.
