March 24th, 10am – Hike at Upper Pine Brook Preserve, East Hampton, CTPlease join the Middlesex Land Trust on Saturday March 24th at 10 am for a hike at the Upper Pine Brook Preserve in East Hampton, CT. On this two mile hike you will see cascades on Pine Brook, foundations of quarry structures from the late 1800's, and learn about a mysterious lyestone.
The trail is gently sloping with good footing.
Participants should wear sturdy shoes or sneakers and bring snacks and water as desired. Steady rain or snow cancels.
The preserve is located at 187 Chestnut Hill Road in East Hampton, however, due to limited parking we will meet in the commuter lot at the junction of Rt 16 and Rt 66 just east of Cobalt center.
