Dan - you are trying to deflect the fact that you MISSED the hearing and opportunity to do something about Messenger's release- this is just a political move.
Within the last week or so, we've had another person found innocent by reason of insanity and sent to Whiting for evaluation prior to actual sentencing. We have learned recently that the time length of the sentencing is not case is stone; if the patient "recovers" then they may be released prior to serving their full term. Also, although 3 patients have been in the news lately, releasing of patients into the community must not be a new thing considering that Whiting must have a limited number of beds available.

Dan Drew ran on the premiss of no more lawsuits for the City. Why is he wasting tax payer money on this when the real crooks are at the BOE?
