A few weeks back Jen Alexander wrote a blog entry about Kelly Luce, proprietor of Crazy Pete's Blotter.
Kelly wrote about her first impressions of Middletown, and it was refreshing to get an outsider's perspective.
I've checked out Crazy Pete's Blotter a few time since then, and found this entry, Writing Camp, which completes her Middletown tales. As Kelly indicates, the Wesleyan Writers' Conference is a great way to get your creative batteries recharged.
