Ladies Aid Serves Up Strawberry Shortcake Heaven

Enough for anybody

The Ladies Aid Society of the Third Congregational Church did it again, serving a bounty of strawberry shortcakes to grateful residents.  Two large biscuits, an ocean of strawberries and a mountain of whipped cream were enough to satisfy the hungriest patrons.

This year they started with 720 quarts of strawberries from North Haven, 105 quarts of heavy cream, and 1500 biscuits.
