Republicans Elect New Chairman

 From the Middletown Republican Town Committee

Middletown Republican Town Committee announced at a special meeting on Wednesday March 17,2010, a new Town Chairman to head the Middletown Republican party was endorsed unopposed.

Matthew L Scarrozzo will replace Councilman David Bauer as Chairman, Scarrozzo a past life long Democrat who changed his political affiliation several years ago and ran for a seat on the Republican Common Council this past November. Kenneth McClellan will serve as new Vice Chairman, McClellan who also serves on Planning & Zoning as an alternate. McClellan received the majority votes over David Bauer who also was nominated for Vice Chairman as Leslie Adams stepped down as Vice Chair.
Remaining as Secretary is Hellen Landry and also remaining is Laura Gionfriddo as Treasurer.
