Senator Richard Blumenthal was on a tour of schools in Connecticut which have made extraordinary strides, despite large obstacles. These schools have used a variety of methods to improve learning. One of his stops, yesterday afternoon, was Middletown's Macdonough Elementary School where he toured the facility with Principal Jon Romeo and Superintendent of Schools Michael Frechette. Here, he visits one of Macdonough's second grade classrooms.
