The front of Amatos Toy and Hobby Store was a festive sidewalk cafe tonight, as 150 members of the National Lionel Operating Train Society enjoyed Main Street eating.
Inside, members of the Lionel Operating Train Society viewed vintage Lionel Trains and Lionel Train advertising, along with operating train layouts as they socialized. Amato's is celebrating it's 70th anniversary, and the trains, located on the store's lower level, will be open to the public for viewing on weekends through the end of the month. Amato's was also doing a brisk business with the train enthusiasts.
